CM stresses need to develop entrepreneurship in state

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has stressed the need to develop entrepreneurship in Madhya Pradesh for accelerating pace of state’s development. Young entrepreneurs in the state have ability and talents. Addressing Captains of Industry programme of Nav Dunia here today, the Chief Minister said that minimum one food processing unit based on adequate availability of agriculture or forest produced at local level will be established at every Gram Panchayat. He urged successful entrepreneurs to motive young generation for entrepreneurship. The Chief Minister felicitated outstanding achievers in industry sector. He exhorted young entrepreneurs to come forward and take resolve. The government will extend them maximum cooperation apart from bank loan guarantee. He said that youths should become employers and not job seekers.

Shri Chouhan said that after having established basic infrastructure for agriculture, road, electricity and water, now industries will be promoted in the state. He said that Madhya Pradesh is maintaining growth rate for last many years. Agriculture growth rate is over 20 percent on an average during last 4 years. Growth rate is continuously in double digit. He said that the state government alone cannot ensure development. Industrial community also need to support it. He said that agriculture is priority sector, but industries should also be paid attention. Relief of Rs. 3,500 crore and as much insurance amount is being distributed to farmers. He stressed the need for innovations to take earn more profit from agriculture. He said that agriculture has been affected this year, but he is confident that the state will beat Punjab in wheat production this year also. He said that full blueprint is ready to transform Madhya Pradesh.

The Chief Minister said that it would be good if farmers get more profit for their produce. Profit of middlemen should be reduced and farmers’ profit should be increased. Referring to condition of industries in the state, he said that there is a recession in real estate businesss in the state. Discussions will be held soon with those associated with real estate business.

At the outset, Business Head of Nai Dunia Shri Sanjay Shukla welcomed the Chief Minister. Group’s General Manager Shri Neeraj Pandey delivered the welcome address. The Chief Minister released a book on Simhastha published by the group. Panchayats & Rural Development Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava was also present on the occasion.
