CM to gift three major industrial establishments to state today

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will give the gift of three major industrial establishments to the state on the eve of three-day Global Investors Summit on October 27. He will inaugurate state’s biggest and national-level Crystal IT Park at Indore constructed at a cost of about Rs. 150 crore.
Shri Chouhan will lay the foundation stone for industrial units of Messrs Daulatram NREC Locomotives Pvt. Ltd. at Sherpur in Sehore district and Rs. 100 crore plant of Pinnacle India Pvt. Ltd. at Pithampur industrial area. It is noteworthy that Pinnacle India is the biggest company in internal designs and seating arrangements in commercial vehicles.
State to carve out identity in information technology
Madhya Pradesh will carve out its identity as an information technology state. The process will get underway with the inauguration of Crystal IT Park at Indore. Over 5 thousand youths will get jobs in the information technology sector when the park will become fully operational. It will prove to be a milestone towards establishment of software units.
Besides being grand, this building will be counted among the best buildings not only in Madhya Pradesh but also in the country due to its architecture. In the first phase, two multi-storey buildings have been constructed in 52 thousand square meter area on 12 acre plot of land. The building’s design is like an eye and its total built-up area is about 31 thousand 800 square meters. The building has four capsule lifts, which will be visible from outside. Four additional lifts have also been installed. A grand food court is situated in the centre of the building.
The second building of Crystal IT Park Indore is four-storeyed. It has been built over 18 thousand 200 square meters. A utility building has been constructed in the space between the two buildings for controlling power and airconditioning arrangements. Beautiful landscaping has also been done. The building has proper parking facility. About one thousand vehicles can be parked in both the buildings.
The Union Government has declared this area of Indore as Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for software manufacture. This is first SEZ in this field in Madhya Pradesh. Presently, three units including Messrs Impetus Infotech India Pvt. Ltd., Cleartell Technology Pvt. Ltd. and Intelix Technology Pvt. Ltd. have invested about Rs. 285 lakh in the second building.
Rs. 100 crore suspension system manufacturing unit foundation stone laid
Messrs KVO Pinnace India Pvt. Ltd. is a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries and Messrs KVO, Spain. Messrs KVO Savera Group is a part of Spain, which is a major manufacturer of suspension systems in the European automobile market. This unit’s estimated cost is Rs. 100 crore. The proposed unit is expected to generate 250 direct and indirect jobs. The Madhya Pradesh Audyogik Kendra Vikash Nigam, Indore has transferred 20 acre land in Pithampur industrial area for establishment of this project, which is likely to start production by December 2013.
First private sector diesel engine manufacturing unit worth Rs. 210 crore
The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone of the first private sector diesel engine manufacturing units in the state. So far, diesel locomotives are manufactured in India only at Chitranjan and Varanasi-based government undertakings. Under the project, diesel and electrical locomotives and parts will be manufactured at the unit at villager Sherpur in Sehore district.
Unit’s estimated cost is Rs. 210 crore including Rs. 151.45 crore permanent capital investment and Rs. 58.55 crore working capital. The proposed project will provide direct and indirect employment to about 1800 persons. On the company’s demand, 10.315 hectare (25.49 acre) government land at village Sherpur was allotted in May 2012 on 30-year lease. Of this, 15 acre land has been allotted at 25 percent of prescribed premium as per the provision incorporated in the Industrial Promotion Policy, 2010.
