CM’s Kindness Helped Rail Accident’s Victims

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has helped the victims with kindness once again. CM Shri Chouhan has made special arrangements to airlift 34 years old Smt. Pooja Bakhuni who was injured seriously in a rail accident near Kanpur to send her to Delhi. Surgery was performed on Smt. Bakhuni at B.L. Kapoor Hospital, Rajendra Nagar, New Delhi. As per the doctors, her condition is stable now. She is accompanied by her sister Dr. Kavita Chouhan.

CM Shri Chouhan came to know about the serious injuries of Smt. Bakhuni through the Chief Executive Officer of the Jila Panchayat Chhatarpur Shri Chandramohan Thakur who was part of the relief team. Immediately after this CM Shri Chouhan made arrangements for airlift and sent her to Delhi. Smt. Bakhuni’s husband Shri Amit Bakhuni has lost his life in the train accident. Her two children are still under treatment at Kanpur hospital

The Madhya Pradesh government has taken immediate steps to help injured and the families of the people killed in the Indore-Patna Express Rail accident occurred at Puhkraya near Kanpur. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh himself went to Kanpur and visited hospital to enquire about the condition of the injured passengers and medical treatment. Moreover, Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra has coordinated the relief and rescue activities at the accident site. He also made arrangements to send bodies of the passengers killed in the accident to their family members with all the honour.
