Cooperative movement for all round development
BHOPAL: Cooperative movement should be used on a large scale for all-round development of society says cooperative MinisterGaurishankar Bisen .
Cooperative movement should also be used for making employment available to youths along with agriculture.A state-level convention of Cooperative Federation was addressed by Bisen on Friday.
On the occasion Federation Chairman Arun Singh Tomar was also present .Bisen said while referring to the International Conference on Cooperative Movement held recently at Bhopal, that the suggestions put forth at the conference in the context of development of cooperatives will be implemented hundred percent.
He stressed the need to inform youths, women and students about the importance of cooperative movement. He also said that students winning various competitions and persons putting in excellent works in the cooperative sector will be honoured.
He said an important role will be played by cooperative sector in maintaining balance in the market and those indulging in irregularities in the cooperative sector will be punished.
Arun Singh Tomar, State Cooperative Federation Chairman, informed that the federation has been organising training programmes regularly for enhancing capacity of cooperative representatives. The programmes has also chalked out by fedration for computer training for cooperative societies.
State Cooperative Housing Society president Sushil Vaswani and Consumer Forum president Ratan Yadav also adressed the program.
