CRISP-NASSDOC Workshop Concludes
Bhopal: A training workshop on “Digital Media and Library Information Services”, jointly organised by NASSDOC (National Social Science Decentralization Centre) New Delhi and CRISP concluded in the state capital on Thursday.
The workshop focused on the creation of a digital multi-faceted area of library environment facilitating internal content publishing and single point access to internal and external information sources.
The four-day (7-10th September) workshop was attended by participants from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Sewaram observed that while earlier librarians were supposed to be limited to books alone, they now, play the crucial role of information providers.
