DA Gift for MP Employees in Next Budget

In a gift to seven lakh state government employees in the state ahead of Diwali, the Madhya Pradesh finance department has unveiled plans for a significant rise in the dearness allowance in the next budget.

In the upcoming budget for the year 2025-26, a dearness allowance of up to 64% is expected to be provided to employees.

Additionally, a similar dearness relief arrangement is being made for pensioners. Currently, the state government is giving a dearness allowance at a rate of 46% to the employees and officials of the state. In the next financial year, this is set to increase by 18%.
