Disabled students to get Rs. one lakh each for PhD
Bhopal : The State Government gives award money for PhD to disabled students of all categories studying in colleges and schools. The scheme has been started since year 2009-10.
The award money is given in three installments. Rs. 10 thousand is given at the time of registration for research, Rs. 30 thousand on progress of 60 percent research work on the basis of research instructor’s report and Rs. 60 thousand is given after receipt of getting PhD degree. There is a target to benefit 10 disabled students under the scheme every year. Applications can be sent till November 30. Researchers will be selected on the basis of marks secured at post-graduate level.
