Ensure Full Scale Readiness Ahead of Chhath Festivities: Mayor Malti Rai

Mayor Malti Rai on Monday issued instructions for the timely completion of Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) arrangements for the Chhath festivities in the state capital.
Mayor Rai was speaking to officials at a meeting of civic officials to discuss preparations for the festival. She said that arrangements—for cleanliness, drinking water, and lighting at various ghats and other worship sites—should be completed ahead of the commencement of festivities.
She stated that all necessary repairs and painting at temporary water bodies created for Chhath should be completed in time and that arrangements should be in place for the disposal of worship material and cleaning of the sites at the conclusion of the festivities.
Present at the meeting were Additional Commissioner Ranbir Kumar, Chief Engineer Udit Garg, Subodh Jain, and other officials from the Waterworks and Health Departments.
