Ensuring Road Quality: A Formidable Task, Says PWD Minister
Bhopal: Minister for Public Works Department Nagendra Singh on Thursday said ensuring quality of roads is a more formidable task than their construction, he as speaking after opening a two-day workshop on Quality Assurance and Quality Control in the state capital.
Lauding the dynamic leadership of Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Singh said the state is scaling new heights in development including construction of roads and bridges.
The Minister said that Madhya Pradesh has given top priority to constructional and upgradation of roads, constructing 27 thousand 819 km length of roads and about 200 high level bridges at a cost of RS. 76 thousand crore over last six years.
Principal Secretary, Public Works PD Meena presided over the function.
