Every college to have one regular professor: Gupta
Bhopal : At least one regular assistant professor/professor will be deployed in every college. This has been directed by Higher and Technical Education Minister Umashankar Gupta.
Gupta said that subjects should be rationalised in the cities having more than one college. After that ratio of students and teachers should be worked out. He said that transfers should be made on the basis of this ratio. Applications for transfers should be invited online.
Gupta said that regular faculties should be deployed at colleges having excessive students. In science colleges, principals of only science subject should be posted. In technical education institutions, senior professors of technical subjects will be posted as principals.
Principal Secretary Technical Education Sanjay Singh and Additional Director Higher Education were also present on the occasion.
