Fire NOC process online from June 7
Bhopal. Now, standard operating procedure has been prescribed to issue online fire NOC through e-Nagar Palika in the state. For fire NOC, applications can be submitted online from June 7 on e-Nagar Palika Portal www.mpenagarpalika.gov.in.
‘Fire NOC’ is issued by an authority designated as ‘Fire Officer’ under Madhya Pradesh Land Development Rules as per provisions of fire safety measures contained in National Building Court rules. The state government has designated Additional Commissioner Urban Development as ‘Fire Officer’.
Government of India has introduced process of Ease of Doing Business to establish industries and businesses easily. e-Nagar Palika software application has been developed to ensure e-governance in urban bodies. ‘Fire NOC’ has also been included in it. Decision regarding issuance of online ‘Fire NOC’ through e-Nagar Palika will be taken by Fire Officer.
Additional Commissioner-cum-Fire Officer has directed all district collectors to send applications for Fire NOC, documents and recommendations pertaining to it through the Portal. District-wise login numbers and passwards have been assigned. After logging in once, password can be changed.
