Four Officials on Poll Duty Die in MP

Bhopal: Four officials on poll duty had died in Madhya Pradesh, Election Commission said on Thursday. The exact reason behind the death is yet unknown, but fellow officials believe heat wave cause the tragedy.

According to Additional Electoral Officer Sanjay Pandey said that two employees died in Bhopal on Wednesday, while one each died in Shahdol and Hoshangabad on Thursday.

“Though the exact reason behind the deaths is not known, heat stroke appears to have been the cause,” he said.
