Free G-K books should also provided to general category students: Umashankar Gupta
Bhopal: Higher Education Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta reviewed progress of departmental 100-day action plan here today. He said that like SC and ST students, those belonging to general category should also be provided free general knowledge books, Hindi-English dictionary, Atlas and other necessary books. He directed to chalk out a plan for this.
Shri Gupta directed to ensure completion of all schemes included in 100-day action plan within time-limit. He instructed to chalk out training programme for all faculties in colleges. Shri Gupta said that refresher course must be done by every faculty in 2 years.
The Higher Education Minister directed to rationalise teaching staff in colleges on the basis of number of students. He instructed to chalk out an action plan for conducting exams in Barkatullah University at per time-table.
