From March 25, applications of Ladli Bahna Yojana will be filled in every ward of villages and cities- CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told told that today is a lucky day for the women of Khargone. Their brother has come to meet them. There is no discrimination between son and daughter in Khargone, but this is not elsewhere. When I saw how my sisters were faing inequality, I tried to get them an equal status at par with men.

We introduced the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, then launched the Kanya Vivah Yojana to reduce the burden of expenses of parents for their marriage. After this, now I have implemented Ladli Bahna Yojana with the aim of helping my sisters to improve their economic condition and to meet their small needs. Be it Devrani or Jethani or Manjali or Sanjali, everyone will be given Rs. 1000 every month in the scheme. In this way your brother will be with his sisters throughout the year. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Ladli Bahna Yojana and PESA rules awareness conference at Anakwadi in Khargone district.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that from March 25, applications of Ladli Bahna Yojana will be filled in every ward of villages and cities. Chief Minister Chouhan said that till the application of each and every eligible woman of the village is not filled, the camp will continue in that village. Forms will be filled by April, verification will be done in May and money will come into the account from June 10.
Chief Minister Chouhan gave approval of Rs 1.41 lakh and Rs 1.50 lakh respectively for the treatment of Kanika and Divyansh under Mukhya Mantri Bal Hriday Upchar Yojana. Apart from this, an acceptance letter of Rs. 86.40 lakh was given to the Tribal Fisheries Cooperative Society of Bhagwanpura.
Chief Minister Chouhan was presented a cheque of Rs. 87 lakh as share capital of the bank by the Managing Director of District Cooperative Bank Rajendra Acharya. Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated development works worth Rs. 68.77 crore and laid the foundation stone of development works worth Rs. 171. 40 crore
