Garba Organisers in MP Say No to Stag Entry, Backless Dresses
They say the religious festival does not welcome people from other religions

Garba organisers in Madhya Pradesh have issued specific guidelines for those joining the festivities this year, stating that only practising Hindus are welcome.
Posters have been put up at Garba venues to inform people of the guidelines. “Garba pavilions are dedicated to the worship of the goddess, and individuals from other religions should not participate,” media outlets have quoted Sunil Yadav of the Bhojpal Garba Utsav as saying.
If a Muslim wishes to attend the Garba, they must first convert to Hinduism. Additionally, presenting an identity document will be mandatory for entry. Attendees will only be allowed in if they have a tilak on their forehead and a kalava on their wrist.
Guidelines have also been established regarding the music played during the Garba, stipulating that only pre-approved songs will be played and that no vulgar songs will be allowed.
In Khandwa, organisers have stated that women wearing backless dresses will not be permitted entry; only those in traditional Indian attire will be allowed.
An ID card is also required here. Non-Hindus will not be assigned any organisational roles within the pavilion, and entry will only be granted after the tilak has been applied.
Animesh Joshi, co-secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, stated that single men will not be allowed entry this time. Only families will be permitted to attend. There are also plans to provide traditional Garba attire.
