Gaur Writes to PC Seeks Immediate Meeting of GoM

Bhopal  —  Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Babulal Gaur has written to chairman of the recently reconstituted Group of Ministers (GoM) and Home Minister P. Chidambaram, urging him to immediately convene the Group.

In his letter Gaur expressed the necessity to request the Supreme Court to revive the Bhopal Memorial Hospital Trust.

In his letter, Gaur stressed that the GoM should seriously discuss the June 7 verdict so suitable action could be initiated against Union Carbide Corporation chairman Warren Anderson and other accused in the case.

The gas rehabilitation minister is a permanent invitee to the GoM.
