Gifts of National Data Centre and Special Electronics Training Institute to state

Bhopal: A Special Electronics Skill Training Institute will be opened in the state to train youths in manufacturing of electronics goods. An academic centre will be opened to train teachers teaching electronics subject. Besides, a National Data Centre will also be opened in the state where important data from all states will be maintained. For this NIC will invest Rs. 200 crore. This was announced by Union Information Technology Minister Shri Ravishankar Prasad while laying foundation stone of electronic manufacturing cluster at Bhopal today. After announcements of Union Minister Shri Prasad, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced to make available land immediately for National Data Centre.
Shri Prasad said that Madhya Pradesh has realised its strength in IT sector under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Shri Prasad lauded progress made by the state in IT Sector.
Shri Prasad said that for re-building India, youths will be linked with Digital India and provided a strong forum to display their talent and skill. He said that entire world is looking towards India. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, process has begun to transform India. Now, every citizen takes pride in being Indian.
Shri Prasad said that the government led by Shri Modi is a government that works. Referring to Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana, he said that it was launched simultaneously at 70 places in the country and 4 crore bank accounts were opened in only 10 days. He said that over 2.50 lakh suggestions have been received in only 15 days through platform “mygov.nic.in” set up for direct dialogue with people. He said that a new India is emerging. Under Digital India, internet will reach villages through fibre optical network. Schemes like e-education, e-health and e-commerce are coming up. Shri Prasad said that India is moving ahead for brightening future through combination of Indian talents and information technology. The Union Government will make available Rs. 30 thousand crore for re-building India through information technology.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh will realise Prime Minister Shri Modi’s dream of Digital India. He said that Madhya Pradesh is on top in the country in economic and agriculture growths. He said that state’s top priority is that every youths gets employment. Referring to Global Investors Summit to be held at Indore, he informed that ambassadors of 28 countries will participate in it. Top industrial houses will also be present. Prime Minister Shri Modi will inaugurate it.
Shri Chouhan said that state is ready for investment in every sector. Shri Chouhan urged youths to come forward. State government will extend maximum cooperation to them. He said that 50 thousand youths will get employment on establishment of this cluster. He said that Make in Madhya Pradesh campaign has been launched in the state to ensure success of Prime Minister Shri Modi’s “Make in India” campaign. He said the under new business process outsourcing policy, land has been earmarked in 20 cities for companies of this sector. In it, 12th pass youths will also get jobs. Shri Chouhan urged youths to become successful entrepreneurs and employers. For this, the state government will make available upto Rs. one crore to them under Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana and Mukhyamantri Yuva Contractor Yojana.
Information Technology Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country that has provided land for electronic manufacturing cluster near airport. Canada’s Consular General has also described Madhya Pradesh as ideal state for investment in IT and agriculture sectors.
MP Shri Alok Sanjar said that governments of Centre and state are public-oriented. Their one-point programme is to serve people. He said that youths will get new employment opportunities through electronic manufacturing cluster.
MLA Shri Vishwas Sarang said that side by side infrastructure development, the state government has implemented Antyodaya welfare programmes. He informed that 12 thousand 500 youths will get direct and over 50 thousand indirect employment through this cluster.
