HC Puts Two Civic Bodies in MP on Notice over Dengue Spread

Seeking a status report on anti-dengue measures in the respective jurisdictions, a division bench of the MP High Court issued notices to the Bhopal and Jabalpur municipal corporations on Thursday.
The bench was hearing a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking court direction for the state government and civic bodies to initiate measures to contain the deadly disease in the state.
The bench, comprising Chief Justice Suresh Kumar Kait and Justice Vivek Jain, issued notices to the two civic bodies.
