Hema Malini, Isha and Ahna Deol to perform in Sironj Mahotsav

Bhopal: Sironj Mahotsav will get underway with “Naari” and “Meera” ballets to be performed by famous artistes Hema Malini, Isha Deol and Ahna Deol on May 14. Culture Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma will inaugurate the Mahotsav. It will be held at Lal Bahadur Shastri College ground, Sironj everyday 8.30 pm from May 14 to 19. Entry will be free.

On the second day of Mahotsav, 30 artistes will perform simultaneously. Besides, Puraliya Chhau, Siddhi Dhamal, Rai dances will also be performed in the presence of Bahrupiya artistes from Rajasthan. On the third day May 16, Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota will perform. Gutumbaja, Kalbeliya and Badhai dances will also be performed the same day. On the fourth day May 17, famous playback singer Shri Amit Kumar will perform film songs while Ustad Aftab and Hashim Sabri of Mumbai will sing qawwalis.

On the fifth day of Mahotsav May 18, Bhajan singers of Lucknow Agnihotri brothers will perform. Playback singer Mika and party will also present film songs. On the last day of Mahotsav May 19, all-India Kavi Sammelan will be held in which Hariom Pawar, Surendra Sharma, Vishnu Saxena, Jagdish Solanki, Satyanarayan Sattan, Keerti Kale, Shabeena Adeeb, Saba Balrampur, Pradeep Choubey, Gajendra Solanki and Ashok Sundarani will participate. Culture Minister Shri Sharma has urged people to participate in the programme with family.
