Hindi Vishwavidyalaya should be developed as unique university: CM

Bhopal: Fifty acre land has been identified for construction of Hindi Vishwavidyalaya’s building on Vidisha Road. A vision document has been prepared by the university in Hindi. This information was given at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. Hindi Vishwavidyalaya’s vice-chancellor Shri Mohanlal Chheepa and Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram were also present on the occasion.
At the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Hindi Vishwavidyalaya should be developed as a unique university where science and technology subjects should be taught in Hindi medium. He directed to chalk out a plan of the university building. He said that one can express himself in the best manner through mother tongue.
It was informed at the meeting that education will be imparted in Hindi medium at the university. For this, courses will be prepared in two phases. The university will also hold a convention of Hindi scholars. Secretary Higher Education Shri J.N. Kansotiya was also present at the meeting.
