Jal Jeevan Mission ambitious scheme of MP Govt.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Jal Jeevan Mission is an ambitious scheme.

This mission, which will be implemented with the resources of the central and state governments, will ensure the availability of tap water in every household, he said.

Successful implementation of the scheme is the collective responsibility of all public representatives and officers and employees, he said.

It is necessary to be aware of the construction works being done in the scheme and to ensure quality work within the time limit, he said.

Water sources should be identified in such a way that continuous water supply can be ensured in the summer season, he said.

The restoration work of the excavation done for laying the pipeline in the mission should be completed immediately on priority, he said.

District and state-level officers should ensure that the works are completed with quality and time limit by visiting them at regular intervals. All the restoration works should be compulsorily completed before the rainy season.

Instructions for checking all works done in Khargone district

It was told that all the 254 villages of Burhanpur district has been certified as Har Ghar Jal Gram (village having water in all homes).

It was informed that out of the total approved 315 single village tap-water schemes in Barwani district, the work of 59 is complete and work is in progress in 256. Jhabua and Alirajpur districts were also reviewed by the Chief Minister.

During the review of Ujjain division, Chief Minister Chouhan instructed to solve the problem of fluoride in the water of some villages of Bajna area of Ratlam by formulating a group plan instead of a single plan.
