Kamal Nath’s Government geared up against Mafias’ terror

The CM Kamal Nath government has convened a high level meeting on December 12 to intensify the campaign to liberate the common people, who have been suffering from the terror of Mafia Raj for years in its just one year tenure. The Minister for Public Relations P.C. Sharma said that the Chief Minister has given clear instructions that now in the state ‘Logon ke liye Logon ki Sarkaar’ will run and not the Mafia Raj.
P.C. Sharma said that the courage displayed by the Chief Minister to crush mafia raj in just one year has given relief to the people. He further stated that mafia was running the parallel government in the state for decades keeping the government and administration in its pocket. The people of the state were bearing the brunt and the development was getting obstructed.
P.C. Sharma mentioned that ‘Shuddh ke liye Yuddh’ has been launched by the Kamal Nath government, which is standing firmly with the people against the mafia. A wide scale action has been taken in the state by arresting mafia of adulterators, which was serving poison to the common people. During the drive, 94 FIRs have been registered against the adulterators and action under the NSA has been taken against 31 businessmen.
P.C. Sharma said that the government after forming the new sand policy has crushed the morale of the mafia, which was looting the sand wealth of the state and was assaulting the people’s interest. The Chief Minister Kamal Nath by his single decision has destroyed the unafraid sand mafia , which under the political patronage was attacking the government-administration. Not only this, the revenue that the state received from the new sand policy has gone upto Rs. 1234 crore this year from about Rs. 200 crore, which the state used to get in the past. By forming the new sand policy, the Chief Minister has also revealed that Rs. 15,000 crore were going into whose pocket for the last 15 years. Now, this money instead of going into private hands will be used for the development of the State and the welfare of the people.
The Public Relations Minister said that the campaign is also going on in the entire state to free the farmers from the mafias who sell adulterated fertilizer. Action has been taken for adulteration in 110 cases after samples were taken during inspection of 1313 fertilizer sellers and godowns in the last one month.
P.C. Sharma said that not only that, despite all the pressures the Kamal Nath government has been strict and ensure stern action in various cities against the mafia for misuse of its influence and mediums to conduct unethical activities, occupying government and private lands in Indore and Gwalior also. The only goal behind this strong action was that now the mafia will not be allowed to loot the people of the state and government property here.
Minister Sharma said that it is clear from the activities of the leaders who are directly and indirectly protecting the mafia by making statements in their support under whose 15 years of rule the mafia have flourished. Minister Sharma said that a high-level meeting is going to be held on December 12 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Kamal Nath to uproot the mafia raj in the state. Home Minister, Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence) and SIT, IG and Commissioner Jabalpur, Indore, Gwalior, Bhopal, Collector Indore and Commissioner Indore Municipal Corporation will be present in this meeting.
