Krishi Kranti Raths visit 781 villages on second day

Bhopal: Krishi Kranti Raths visited 781 villages on the second day of Krishi Mahotsav on September 26 that aims to apprise farmers of latest farming technologies to boost farm production and productivity. Agriculture experts and others informed farmers about latest agriculture techniques through the Raths. Over 40 thousand farmers participated in village-level farmers camps.
On the second day of Mahotsav, 1368 kits under Suraj Dhara Yojana, 795 under Annapurna Yojana and 531 under Beej Gram Yojana were distributed. As many 4542 samples of soils were also taken and 874 visiting teams were formed under Mukhyamantri Khet-Tirth Yojana.
Revenue records are also being distributed during Krishi Mahotsav. On the second day, 396 documents were distributed. Over 26 thousand animals were treated at veterinary camps. As many as 1176 pending cases of mutation and 30 of demarcation were disposed of. Kisan Credit Cards and loan books were also distributed. Works under Mera Khet Meri Mati Yojana were started at 203 places.
Wherever Krishi Kranti Raths visit, cultural programmes are also held. As many as 170 cultural programmes were held on the second day of Mahotsav.
