Laghu Udyog Nigam presents Rs. 2 crore 20 lakh cheque of dividend to CM Shri Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan was presented a cheque worth Rs. 2 crore 20 lakh 12 thousand 651 towards dividend by Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam here today. Commerce and Industries Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Laghu Udyog Nigam Chairman Shri Akhand Pratap Singh, Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram, Additional Chief Secretary Shri P.K. Dash and Corporation’s MD Shri R.K. Chaturvedi were present on the occasion.
Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam Chief General Manager Finance & Accounts Shri Piyush Mathur informed that the corporation is earning profit since the year 2003-04. Till the year 2009-10, dividend worth Rs. 11 crore 4 lakh 76 thousand has been given to the State Government.
He informed that the corporation has earned profit worth Rs. 11 crore 62 lakh 23 thousand 78, of which 20 percent amount worth Rs. 2 crore 32 lakh 44 thousand 616 is being provided to the Union and State governments. The Central share in the dividend worth Rs. 12 lakh 32 thousand 965 has been paid to the Development Commissioner Handloom.
