Local citizens should also monitor construction works: PR Minister Sharma

The Minister for Public Relations, Law and Legislative Affairs P.C. Sharma has told local citizens that the construction works should also be monitored by them. Minister Sharma was inaugurating the construction and development works of 3 parks in Nehru Nagar today. He said that parks are being constructed and developed at a cost of Rs. One crore 79 lakh 91 thousand. Park are being constructed in front of AVM School at a cost of Rs. 71 lakh 31 thousand, near Police Lines Durga Mandir at a cost of Rs. 56 lakh and near Ward Office -29 at a cost of Rs. 52 lakh 60 thousand.
Minister Sharma has informed that all the parks will have iron fencing and gates for security. Paver blocks will be installed in the pathway of the parks. Moreover, in addition to flower plants, neem, kadam, amaltas etc. will be planted. Parks will have swings and slides for children and a separate park zone for elderly. Solar lights will be installed in the parks. The Corporator Santosh Kasana, Monu Saxena, Jawahar Punjabi and Jitendra Kasana were present on the occasion.
