Madhya Pradesh to have Semi-conductor Fab Investment Policy
Bhopal: Semi-conductor Fab Investment Policy will be chalked out in Madhya Pradesh. Science & Technology Department made a presentation on proposed policy’s provisions before Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today.
The Chief Minister said that this will be an effective measure to ensure success of Prime Minister’s Digital India initiative. Discussions will also be held with the Central Government for desired cooperation in semi-conductor and fab investment. The presentation informed that there is no fab unit anywhere in the country. This will create awareness among global investors about investment in this sector. Ancillaries of semi-conductor and fab units will also be set up. Large number of jobs will be generated in the state. During presentation, suggestions were given to provide international level infrastructure and necessary resources in the investment policy.
