Manthan South Asia Award to Madhya Pradesh for Patwaris’ online recruitment exam

Bhopal: Prestigious Manthan Award South Asia and Asia Pacific 2012 has been conferred to Madhya Pradesh for successful online recruitment exam of Patwaris. Madhya Pradesh has received this award for year 2012 in e-governance category. A 16-member jury selected Madhya Pradesh for this award, which comprised senior officers of Information Technology Department, reputed professional, journalists and social activists.
The award was received by MP Online Chief Operating Officer Shri Pramod Bhargava on behalf of Madhya Pradesh government’s undertaking MP Online in Delhi on Saturday. The award is given for outstanding works in e-contact, creativity and digital innovation sectors done in 36 countries.
It is noteworthy that MP Online had conducted online Patwari recruitment exams for the first time in Madhya Pradesh in March this year. Over one lakh applications were received against total 2,742 posts. After verification, 85 thousand candidates appeared in the exam. Entire online process was completed in 55 days.
The process was completed in such a transparent way that not a single case was filed in any court of law.
