Issuing post-midnight transfer orders on Monday, the Madhya Pradesh government reshuffled 26 IAS officers in the state.
As per the orders, Sanjay Shukla and Raghvendra Kumar Singh have been moved to different departments. Until now, the two were posted at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat as Principal Secretaries.
With the transfers of the two officers, the Chief Minister’s Secretariat is now left with only Additional Chief Secretary Rajesh Rajora, who has been entrusted with the additional charge of Public Services Management. He was already responsible for the Narmada Valley Development Authority and the Water Resources Department.
Sources in the administration said that the reshuffle had been due since Anurag Jain took over as Chief Secretary.
