Mukhyamantri Yuva Engineer-contractor Yojana: Selection made through random process
Bhopal: Selection process for candidates under Mukhyamantri Yuva Engineer-contractor Yojana was undertaken at Nirman Bhavan here today. Selections were made through random process after receipt of online applications. List of selected candidates and waiting list are available on websitewww.mppwd.gov.in. Successful candidates are also being intimated through SMS.
On the occasion, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Shri Vivek Agrawal said that this is the first phase of Mukhyamantri Yuva Engineer-contractor Yojana. Its objective is to benefit maximum number of engineers and this process will be undertaken constantly. In this phase, 500 youths will be imparted training while more of them will be included in the next phase. He said that selection of candidates will be done for the next phase from the applications received for this phase also.
Engineer-in- Chief, PWD Shri Akhilesh Agrawal said that 6-month training will be imparted to candidate under the scheme. Candidates selected for the first phase will possible be called on October 1. They will be registered and apprised about future activities.
For the scheme, 8,504 applications were received and selection from among them was made through random number generation process. Of these, 73 are ST male and 27 female candidates. A waiting list of 42 ST candidates has also been released in male section. In the SC section, 56 male and 24 female candidates have been selected while a waiting list of 34 male and 16 female candidates has been released. Similarly, 224 male and 96 female candidates belonging to general and backward classes have been selected and waiting list of 134 male and 58 female candidates has been released.
A number of young candidates from various regions of the state were present on the occasion. Among them, Pinki Choudhary and Seema Panthi of Bhopal, Purushottam Prajapati of Panna, Abhishek Akhand of Ujjain, Rakesh Malviya of Neemuch, Shiv Kumar Prajapati of Satna, Kamta Prasad Arakh, Shruti Tripathi of Shahdol, Neha Raghuvanshi of Ujjain, Shivam Mathur of Vidisha, Neha Joshi of Bhopal, Kirti Dube of Hoshangabad, Lalit Patel of Bhopal, Sawan Joshi of Sehore, Amir Jameel of Bhopal, Mayur Patel of Burhanpur and other candidates expressed happiness over their selecotion on the occasion. The selected candidates met Shri Vivek Agrawal and Shri Akhilesh Upadhyay and sought their blessings.
