The University Institute of Technology (UIT) at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) has achieved a significant milestone, with the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) awarding accreditation to two of its undergraduate programs for the next three years.
The B.Tech. programs in Computer Science and Engineering, along with Electronics and Communication Engineering, have officially received NBA accreditation for the academic sessions 2024-2025 to 2026-2027, solidifying their academic excellence until June 30, 2027.
The prestigious accreditation follows a rigorous evaluation process in December, conducted by an NBA team. Professor Sudhir Singh Bhadoria, Director of RGPV UIT, expressed pride in the recognition, highlighting that the accreditation was awarded based on the programs’ academic achievements, innovative practices, and student engagement.
This remarkable success is attributed to the visionary leadership of RGPV Vice Chancellor Professor Rajeev Kumar Pathak, Registrar Professor Mohan Sen, and the relentless efforts of the faculty and staff.
Manish Ahirwar, Head of the B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering Department, and Sanjay Sharma, Head of the B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, played pivotal roles in steering the programs toward this significant accomplishment.
The NBA accreditation is a testament to the university’s commitment to offering quality education, preparing students for successful careers in rapidly evolving industries. With this recognition, RGPV UIT stands as a leader in technical education, poised to continue shaping future engineers for global challenges.
