New building of Makhanlal University will be constructed in Bisenkheri

Bhopal:  New building of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication will be constructed in Bisankhedi. Madhya Pradesh Government has allotted 50 acre land for this purpose.  University’s management committee, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken the decision on Wednesday.

In a meeting, Chief Minister has instructed to complete the construction within the prescribed time limit. The decision has been taken to fix one year duration for fellowships like Maharishi Naradmuni peeth, Patanjali Peeth, Bharatmuni peeth and Panini Peeth. It was also decided that process for appointment on requisite posts should be started soon in view of expansion of teaching and administrative activities of the university.

It was informed that consent has been given for allotting government land at Gwalior for the university’s new branch there. Similarly, process will also be undertaken for obtaining lands for the university’s Shahdol and Khandwa premises. Consent was also given at the meeting to the proposal for organising symposia and various programmes in cooperation with internationally renowned institution Global foundation for Civilization Harmony, New Delhi.
