Poor families should be given priority in loan schemes

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed progress of various schemes of Industries Departments here today. It was informed that against the target of 71 thousand 500 beneficiaries, loans have been provided to 73 thousand 615 beneficiaries under various schemes.

The Chief Minister said that poor families should be given priority in loan schemes. Procedural arrangements should be made for this. Efforts should be made that loan cases for commercial purposes should be passed under Mudra Scheme of the Central government. Service and production units should be benefited under state government’s schemes so that maximum number of new units are opened in the state. He directed that persons belonging to SC and ST must invariably be given representation in the schemes in ratio of their population.

The meeting was informed that against target of 1500 beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana, 1522 beneficiaries have been benefited. Similarly, against target of 54000 beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana, 54,245 beneficiaries have been benefited and against target of 16000 beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Arthik Kalyan Yojana, 17,848 beneficiaries have been benefited.
