Possibilities of collaboration of China and MP in industries sector: CM

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there are immense possibilities of collaboration of China and MP in industries sector. A special zone has been established at Dhar industrial area for South Asian companies. Chouhan was holding discussions with a delegation of investors from China led by Vice Governor of Henan province Zhao Jianchai at his residence on Friday.

Chouhan said that Henan providence and Madhya Pradesh has many similarities. He said that along with trade ties, mutual cultural relations should also be strengthened. Both countries are agrarian with almost similar growth rates. He informed the Chinese delegation that Madhya Pradesh is making rapid strides in food processing, information technology and automobile sectors. It is fastest growing state of India. Chouhan invited the Chinese delegation to Global investors Summit to be held at Indore.

Zhao said that China is interested to invest in industrial sector. He invited the Chief Minister to China to take part in investors meet to be held in Henan. The delegation comprised Henan province’s Director General Commerce Jiach Jinmio, Director General Transport Zhang Kiang and Deputy Director General External Affairs Yang Vebin. Industries Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Principal Secretary Industries Mohammad Suleman, Secretary to CM Vivek Agrawal and TRIFAC’s MD D.P. Ahuja were also present on the occasion.
