Power company creates record of Rs. 500 crore revenue collection

Bhopal. The 14 circles of Central Region Power Distribution Company have created record of Rs. 500 crore revenue collection during December. Due to planned strategy by companies’ workers, 13 percent more revenue has been collected in December 2015 compared to December 14, which is a record in entire state.

MD Shri Vivek Porwal informed that every possible effort is being made to recover revenue from consumers in accordance with ‘per unit average tariff’. Along with O & M staff, cooperation of vigilance wing and tahasildars is also being taken in this process. Vigilance Department has also been delegated powers to put up cases in special courts.
