Prakash Jha Wants to Shoot Next Amitabh Starrer in Bhopal
Noted Hindi film director Prakash Jha, who recently shooted the much awaited Katrina Kaif-Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Rajniti’ in the state capital, has plans to return to the city to shoot his next film starring Amitabh Bachchan.
“Bhopal is a beautiful place and the people of the city are very helpful. I have therefore decided to shoot my next film ‘Aarakshan’ starring Amitabh Bachchan here, starting February next year,” Jha told media persons.
Jha said that movie-making is a lengthy, extensive process and that he does a lot of research before he starts shooting a film.
“Gangajal” took eight to nine years to start while about six years were spent on ‘Rajniti’ before shooting could begun. And now, ‘Aarakshan’, which revolves around the recommendations of the Mandal Commission, has been in my mind for five years,” Jha added.
