District Administration Tells Farmers to Complete Registration in Time

The registration process for the Rabi procurement season 2025-26 is underway in the district. Farmers can now register for wheat procurement at 47 cooperative societies across the district.

Started on January 20, 2025, the registration process is entirely free for farmers. They can register through cooperative societies or download a mobile app to register themselves from the comfort of their homes.

In addition to the cooperative societies, registration can also be done through MP.Online, Common Service Centres, Public Service Centres, and private cyber cafes, providing multiple options for convenience.

The registration process is based on yield data collected from the Revenue Department’s online portal. Any discrepancies regarding crop area or type can be corrected at the concerned Tehsildar’s office.

Farmers are encouraged to ensure that they register accurately. An OTP, linked to the Aadhaar number, must be received to complete the registration. This will help ensure timely payments for the procured wheat.

For joint landowners, each individual must register the crop sown on their respective portion of the land. Sharecroppers (Batiyedars) and tenants (Khot farmers) will need to register through cooperative societies with a one-year-old contract in place.

Farmers are also advised to update their bank details in the registration portal to ensure payments are processed smoothly. For farmers with land in multiple villages, they can register crops across these areas during the same process.

Authorities urge farmers to complete their registration at the nearest centres as soon as possible to avoid delays during the wheat procurement season.
