Protest against poor quality of Highways in MP

Bhopal: Girish Gautam BJP legislator on Monday cycled to the Madhya Pradesh assembly in protest against the poor quality highways in MP.

Gautam who belongs to Rewa told reporters after reaching the house, “The conditions of national highways are so pathetic that there is no way to travel but ride a cycle.”

The central road transport and highways minister is Kamal Nath, who self belongs to Madhya Pradesh.There are 14 national highways in the state with a total length of 3,714 km.

Bhartiya Janta Party leaders are blaming the central government for the condition of highways in the state.
