Rs. 2000 crore provisioned under Mukhyamantri Adhosanrachna programme

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that government exists for serving people. He was addressing a foundation-laying ceremony at Obaidullaganj today. He said that the State Government is ensuring development with humanitarian outlook and people’s welfare. He said that Mukhyamantri Shehri Adhosanrachna Vikas Karyakram has been implemented to ensure development of urban areas.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan laid foundation stones for various works costing about Rs. 22 crore. These include a scheme costing Rs. 17 crore 33 lakh under Mukhyamantri Shehri Pey-jal Yojana, Rs. 2 crore development works under Mukhyamantri Shehri Adhosanrachna Vikas Karyakram and construction of a community health centre.
Shri Chouhan said that State Government is laying a network of roads and power in the state so that development activities are promoted and small and cottage industries set up in villages.
Shri Chouhan said that state is developing fast. Adequate power is being supplied to farmers for making agriculture profitable. He said that farmers will not have to pay electricity bills every month now since their meters will not be read. They will now be charged at the rate of Rs. 1200 per horsepower per annum.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the State Government has implemented higher education loan scheme to ensure higher education of students from all sections of society under which loan guarantee is being given by the government.
Former Chief Minister Shri Sundarlal Patwa also spoke on the occasion.
