Rs 50000 monthly honorarium will be given to guest faculty in colleges: CM

Guest scholars teaching in colleges of Madhya Pradesh will now get monthly salary instead of working days. And it will be up to Rs 50 thousand. This announcement was made by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the conference of guest scholars organized at CM Niwas today. Apart from monthly honorarium, guest scholars will be given the facility of transfer at local level.

Guest scholars will now get all government holidays. Guest scholars who were dropped due to fall-n-out will also be taken into service. ITI guest teachers will get Rs 20 thousand. Guest scholars teaching in technical education and skill development centers will also benefit from this.

Chief Minister Shivraj said, while touring the state, appeals and applications for regularizing guest scholars have been received many times. I felt sad after seeing the suffering of the guest scholars and hence it was decided that important decisions would be taken in the interest of the guest scholars. The work of strengthening the future of the youth has to be done by the guest scholars.

About 2000 guest scholars from across the state had come to this program organized at CM House.

Guest scholars who have been struggling for years.The youth appointed as guest scholars have been struggling for years to regularize their service. He had received assurance earlier also. But it was not implemented as per expectations. Guest scholars and lecturers were becoming victims of the fall-n-out policy of the college management. After serving in one session, he had to sit out the second session. Due to this he was worried about employment.

Before this, Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the CM was sensitive towards guest scholars even during the Corona period. When colleges were closed, people were provided employment through online classes to facilitate employment and continued to receive honorarium.
