Rules to be simplified to promote trade and business: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that rules will be simplified for promotion of trade and business in the state so that businessmen can establish and run their trades, businesses and industries without any difficulty. Procedures will be simplified so that businessmen are not entangled in legal complexities. The government will extend every possible assistance for trade, business and industries. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing international Vaishya Mahasammelan at Ravindra Natya Grah, Indore on Saturday.
One who is best is Vaishya: Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Vaishyas are those who are best in social service. A Vaishya is never narrow-minded. He is large-hearted and is always ready to serve all.
I am worshipper of people: Shri Chouhan said that Chief Minister is not a king, but is the first servant of the people. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is his temple, people are God and he is their worshipper. He said that people give you a place in their hearts if you served them in true manner.
Increase in revenue necessary: Shri Chouhan said that apart from upliftment of agriculture, expansion of trade and industries is also vital for integrated development of the state. Apart from making agriculture a profitable profession, a network of small and cottage industries is also being laid through the state. He informed that Madhya Pradesh stood first in agriculture sector in the country this year also and is set to received Krishi Karman Award consecutive for the 2nd year.
Come and set up industries in state: Shri Chouhan informed that once counted among BIMARU states, Madhya Pradesh is now a pioneer state in the country. The state had very negligible number of roads, but now a network of roads has been laid throughout Madhya Pradesh. Earlier, power supply was in bad condition, but now 24-hour power supply is available in the state. Not only this, but Madhya Pradesh is also selling power to states like Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. Water of Narmada will be brought to Kshipra river from next month. He urged Vaishya community members to set up maximum number of industries in the state. He informed that the state government is providing upto Rs. 25 lakh loan for small industries on its guarantee.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that he is the maternal uncle of children in the state. Therefore, they need not worry. He will provide employment to them and also discharge responsibility of marrying off daughters. In the state, the government is discharging responsibility towards girls right from birth upto old age.
