Sex racket unearthed in Bhopal, owner of Hindi daily booked for rape

Madhya Pradesh Police unearthed a sex racket and booked the owner of a Bhopal-based Hindi daily for rape. The case was registered after six minor girls were found roaming in an inebriated state in the Ratibarh area early morning on Sunday, reported indiatoday.in.
According to the police, the six minors who were caught roaming in an inebriated state were initially handed over the city child line where they revealed they were being forced into flesh trade.
The 68-year-old newspaper owner has been identified as Pyare Mian, added the report.
“The minor girls in their statements have revealed that they were hired to dance at a birthday party in the Shahpura area on Saturday night.
At the party, they were made to consume alcohol and one of them was raped by Pyare Mian, the girls said.
According to police, the girls were hired by Pyare Milan’s 21-year-old assistant.
A case under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered against the secretary. She has been arrested also, police said.
The minors, in their statements, have revealed that they had attended several such parties in the past where they were made to consume alcohol. Police then suspected that they were used by someone running a sex racket which was hiring them as dancers for high profile parties.
The 21-year-old secretary of Pyare Mian revealed names of some agents from whom she had hired the minors.
Police have raided the Shahpura house where the Saturday night birthday party was hosted and formed several teams to nab Pyare Mian who is absconding.
