President. Draupadi Murmu said that students should step into the world with self-confidence and keep moving forward. Do not lose sight of the goal, no obstacle and challenge will stop you from achieving your goal. By being successful, you all help others to move forward as well. At the same time, take the country forward by using education and contribute in finding solutions to the problems of the country and the world with your thoughts and actions. Continuous efforts to improve oneself by questioning oneself in life continued. President Smt. Murmu was addressing the students who received degrees at the fourth convocation ceremony of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior (Triple ITM) on Thursday. State Governor Mr. Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia, Chairman of Triple ITM Board of Directors Mr. Deepak Ghaisas and Director of Triple ITM Prof. Srinivas Singh was on the stage.

District in-charge and Water Resources Minister Mr. Tulsiram Silavat, Energy Minister Mr. Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Minister of State for Horticulture and Food Processing (Independent Charge) Mr. Bharat Singh Kushwaha, MP Mr. Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar and members of Triple ITM Board of Directors were present in the ceremony.

At the function, President  Murmu conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Science on Padma Vibhushan Dr. Anil Kakodkar, former chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission. Also awarded gold medals to 7 students. In the year 2023, 283 passed out students were awarded BTech, MTech and Management degrees. President Smt. Murmu also laid the foundation stone of a 500-bed hostel at Triple ITM. Also met the children of slums and presented books to them.

President  Murmu expected the students to think about those people of the society who have been left behind in the journey of development. The concept of responsibility towards the society will prove useful for your progress. Helping others also develops one’s own abilities, this is my personal experience too. The President said that Madhya Pradesh has the largest population of Scheduled Tribes. It is a matter of happiness that good steps are being taken in Madhya Pradesh with the spirit of welfare of weaker sections and women. Madhya Pradesh has also started the celebration of Tribal Pride Day. Referring to the last visit to Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh, he said that I had the opportunity to launch the PESA Act there. This Act has been implemented in the interest of the people of the tribal community.

President Murmu said that this convocation ceremony is also special because the institute has completed 25 years of its establishment. He congratulated and congratulated all the students, their families and professors who received the degrees. The President said that it is a matter of pleasure that Triple ITM Gwalior is poised to become such an excellent center of education where higher level education and research will be continuously promoted. It is a matter of happiness that this organization has started various activities to help the local communities. The students and faculty of the institute are guiding the children of the poor families of the local communities. Exhorting the students, President Mrs. Murmu said that economic gain is important, but satisfaction is more important than that.

Appreciating Gwalior, President Murmu said that the city is one of the most beautiful cities of the state. It is not only famous for palaces, temples and forts, it also has an important place in Indian history. He also made special mention of the struggle of the Marathas and the contribution made by the Scindia dynasty in the development of Gwalior. Also said that Gwalior is also known for its rich cultural heritage. It is a matter of happiness that the village of Sangeet Samrat Tansen located in Gwalior district has been named as Tansen Nagar. It is an acknowledged fact that zero is the gift of India. Clear evidence of the concept of zero developed by India in ancient times can be seen in the Chaturbhuj temple located in Gwalior fort.

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that only that technology is successful in a welfare state, which can be used as an instrument of social justice.
