Super Corridor ROB to smoothen devotees journey to Ujjain: CM
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that as Smart City, Indore will emerge as a leading city in both state and country. Shri Chouhan was inaugurating Super Corridor overbridge at Indore today. It has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 46 crore 47 lakh.
The Chief Minister expressed happiness that all public representatives in Indore have concern over development works like a team. A number of people have obtained jobs in the rapidly growing Indore city due to arrival of prestigious companies like TCS and Infosys. Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has special attachment to Indore city. Whenever he comes to the state, he enters through Indore. The Chief Minister congratulated team of Indore Development Authority and construction companies for construction of ROB.
The Chief Minister felicitated all agencies and IDA officers associated with ROB’s construction. The ROB has 8 lanes, 2 cycle tracks and 2 footpaths. It is 889.40 metres long and 120 feet wide.
Mayor Smt. Malini Gaud said that entire Indore city will be made Smart. Indore Municipal Corporation’s revenue has increased by about 30 percent during year 2015-16.
IDA Chairman Shri Shankar Lalwani said that MR-4 being constructed in Indore city will also be completed soon. Its construction will facilitate devotees visiting Simhastha.
MLAs Sarvshri Sudarshan Gupta, Ramesh Mendola, Mahendra Hardia, Sushri Usha Thakur, Manoj Patel, other public representatives and distinguished citizen were present on the occasion. IDA Vice Chairman Shri Lalit Porwal proposed a vote of thanks.
