Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the aim of my life is to make the lives of the people of the state better. Samras Panchayats have set a good example by electing Panchs and Sarpanchs unopposed. These panchayats are wonderful, the villages that come under these panchayats remain harmonious. No case of any village should go to the police station, let us resolve disputes among ourselves. Along with social harmony, panchayats should also present examples in the fields of cleanliness, education, health and women empowerment. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the Samras Panchayat Sammelan held at CM’s residence. Award cheques were given to Samras Panchayats of Budhni area. Chief Minister Chouhan transferred Rs. 7 crore 39 lakh under Panchayat Puraskar Yojana and Mukhya Mantri Jan Awas Yojana with a single click. The Chief Minister inaugurated the convention by performing Kanya Pujan and lighting the lamp. Member of Parliament Shri Ramakant Bhargava, Sadhna Singh and Kartikeya Chouhan attended.
Several steps taken for the education of sisters and daughters and for the empowerment of women
Chief Minister Chouhan said that an arrangement had been made for Samras Panchayats that in the Panchayats where Panch-Sarpanch would be elected unopposed, additional amount would be given as reward for development and public welfare. The poor who are living without houses in such panchayats will also be given houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. CM Chouhan said that I have devoted my life to change the lives of sisters. Seeing the discrimination between son and daughter, there was pain and anguish in my heart. As soon as I entered public life, I started efforts to make the society consider daughters as a boon and not as a burden. In these efforts that started with mass marriages, many schemes like Ladli Laxmi and Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah were implemented after becoming the Chief Minister. Several steps were taken for the education of sisters and daughters and for women empowermenteither Be it reservation for women in urban bodies and panchayats or provision of rebate given to women in immovable property registry, the state government is conducting many activities for the welfare of women and giving them equal rights. Mukhya Mantri Ladli Bahna Yojana is also an important step in this direction.
Bhoomi Pujan of Salkanpur Devi Lok on May 31: All the families of the area should contribute in the construction
Chief Minister Chouhan said that irrigation facilities, road network, education facilities, health services, power supply and industrial activities have expanded a lot in Budhni region. In this sequence, Salkanpur Devi Lok is being developed, whose Bhoomi Pujan will be done on May 31. Before this, from May 16 to 28, yatras will be taken out in every village. All the families of the area should contribute to the public works by providing bricks in the “Ek Eet Aapke Ghar Ki” campaign during the yatras. This is my prayer to Devi Maa that everyone should be blessed, everyone should be well, everyone should be healthy and there should be rain of happiness on everyone.
