Three Kids Killed in Maihar Road Mishap

Bhopal  —  Three children were killed while another was seriously injured when a truck overturned and rammed into a stationary jeep on National Highway no 7 near Maihar town on Thursday, say reports citing local police officials.

Ramdev Patel, a resident of Allahabad, parked the jeep he was traveling in with his family to Maihar, when a speeding truck overturned and crashed into the jeep.

The deceased, identified as Ankit (5), Ashish (6) and Basantlal (9), were sleeping in the jeep, at the time of the accident.

The injured, Guddu (12), was moved to Rewa for treatment.

The police have launched a hunt for the truck driver who fled the spot after the incident.
