Tomar Advises Digvijay to Introspect
Bhopal, MP State BJP chief, Narendra Singh Tomar on Saturday said Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh should analyse promises made in the Congress election manifesto and introspect before pointing fingers.
Tomar said the Centre had promised in its Common Minimum Programme (CMP) that power would be provided to everyone by 2009.
He charged that the Congress was cheating people by stating that the target was to provide electricity to 2.04 lakh BPL families, he alleged.
Similarly, it had also attempted to deceive people by putting the number of villages to be electrified 1.17 lakh instead of 2.35 lakh.
He pointed out that the Congress-led UPA Government had failed to accomplish even the revised task it set for itself.
