Union Finance Minister said in Bhopal, I don’t like questions on tax
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that people question taxes, I don’t like this at all. The Finance Minister said this at the 11th convocation of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Bhopal.
Sitharaman said, ‘People ask why there are so many taxes, I don’t like this at all. I want to bring the tax to zero, but there are many challenges before the country. Funds are needed for that. We have many commitments at the national and international level. We cannot wait for others to give us money, so we are spending money ourselves. A lot of money is needed for that.’
During this, the Finance Minister laid the foundation stone of the academic building and lecture hall in the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research campus. Also gave degrees to 442 researchers. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was also present in this program.
Indian Tradition from Banaras to Kerala

IISER has published 3000 papers. The ranking is also good across the country. There are 8 to 9 patents due to the hard work of the students here. Students from Kerala and Bengal are performing better. Adi Shankaracharya comes from Kerala. Students of the state with depth of knowledge are moving ahead. Banaras has a different knowledge. There is Indian Tradition from Banaras to Kerala.
The Finance Minister told the university students that even if you get a degree from here and do a job somewhere, which is probably necessary for you, it is not difficult for you to take out time to work on science.
Research is needed in the field of data science
Nirmala Sitharaman emphasized on doing research with new technology. She said that there is a need to do more research in the field of data science. 4G network has troubled a lot. Today, due to 5G, there is good connectivity across the country.
India is working with advanced chemistry today. There is more scope in the renewable energy sector. Electricity generated from solar can be stored. Energy is being produced from thermal power. Along with work, there is a need to do new experiments in science.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said – Nirmala Sitharaman is a strong Finance Minister. Under her leadership, we are continuously progressing in the economic sector. We all know that our role is going to be important on the basis of knowledge. The time has come for electrical.
He said that Madhya Pradesh is the only state which has three Triple ITs. Private participation in the field of higher education is increasing continuously.
We are setting up 6 Global Skill Parks in the state. PM Excellence College has been established. New programs have been started to inculcate science in children.
IISER Director Professor Govardhan Das presented the progress report of the institute. Das said that 37% of the students in the institute are women.
More than 3000 research papers of the institute have been published. Bhopal MP Alok Sharma said in the ceremony, today is going to be a historic day.

Indian attire kurta pyjama, saree and salwar suit was made compulsory for students and teachers in the convocation ceremony. Apart from all the students of the institute, other staff also arrived in Indian attire today.
