Vidisha to be developed in accordance with its glorious heritage

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Vidisha will be developed in accordance with its glorious heritage. Shri Chouhan launched development works costing Rs. 829 crore and inaugurated works costing Rs. 5 crore 71 lakh at Vidisha today. These include 350-bed hospital, ITI, commercial taxes office, district transport office, SC girls hostels and foundation laying of other construction works. PWD Minister Shri Sartaj Singh, Revenue Minister Shri Rampal Singh, SC, ST Welfare Minister Shri Gyan Singh and MP Shri Laxmi Narayan Yadav were present.

While addressing people amidst bout of heavy rains, the Chief Minister said that the state government is making efforts to beautify and develop all cities in the state. He said that development works on such a massive scale are being launched in Vidisha for the first time. Special attention will be paid to ensure completion of these works within 2 and half years with quality. He said that every possible step will be taken to beautify historic city Vidisha.

During Vidisha visit, the Chief Minister also dedicated high schools at village Bagri and Kuwankheri, launched construction of barrage and inaugurated veterinary diseases research lab.
