Why Indian bowling unit can potentially derail the ODI world cup campaign

Our country is one of the youngest countries in the world with an average age of just 29 years. But it is a matter of concern that 32.9% of our youth in the age group of 15 to 29 years are neither studying, nor doing any business nor doing any kind of training.

Such youths are 32.4% in Madhya Pradesh. In this case, this picture has come out in the report released this month by the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) of the Ministry of Statistics. NSSO conducted this survey between January 2020 and August 2021 on a total of 2.9 lakh families of all states.

20.3% of unemployed youth are looking for work. 69.8% people are engaged in domestic work. 1.5% youth are not fit for work due to health and 2.3% are just wasting time. Talking about computer knowledge, 61.6% youth in the age group of 15 to 29 do not know how to copy-paste. If sending an e-mail with an attachment, 73.3% youth find it impossible.

In MP, only 29.5% people in the age group of 15 to 29 years know how to copy-paste. In the worst case, it comes second in the country after Assam (29.2%). Madhya Pradesh (18.8%) is also second among the worst states in sending e-mails with attachments.

The youth of UP, Bihar and Punjab are the most ’empty’ in big states

Lakshadweep (54%) has the highest number of youth not in education, job and training, Arunachal (5%) has the lowest. However, among the 10 big states, UP, Bihar, Punjab are worse.

34.9% people in the age group of 15 to 29 years are doing some kind of education or training in the country. Ladakh has the highest number of such youths at 61.6%.
