Women shots husband and brother-in-law dead in Ujjain
In Ujjain, a woman shot dead her husband and brother-in-law. The husband died on the spot while the brother-in-law died during treatment in the hospital. After the murder, the woman reached the police station with an illegal country-made pistol and surrendered. The woman first fired at the brother-in-law who was performing puja, then shot the sleeping husband.
The incident took place just 200 meters away from Ingoriya police station of Ujjain on Tuesday morning. Savita, who works in Anganwadi, shot her husband Radheshyam and brother-in-law Dheeraj. Radheshyam died on the spot. Dheeraj died in the hospital. When Dheeraj’s wife and his son came out after hearing the sound of firing, Savita fired at them too. However, they survived.
According to family members, Savita (41) lived in a separate house with her husband Radheshyam Kumaria (43), while Dheeraj Kumaria (45) lived in the house opposite. The primary reason for the incident is believed to be a family dispute.

First fired on brother-in-law, then husband
According to the information, Radheshyam was addicted to drinking alcohol. There was a dispute going on between the two brothers regarding land. On Monday morning, brother-in-law Dheeraj came to the courtyard to perform puja. At the same time, Savita came out of the house and fired two bullets at Dheeraj. The first bullet hit his head and the second bullet hit his shoulder. After this, Savita came inside the house and shot her sleeping husband Radheshyam on his temple.

Dheeraj used to buy and sell illegal weapons
The family member said, ‘There was a dispute going on between Radheshyam and Dheeraj regarding land. It is possible that Savita may have taken this step out of anger over this very thing.
Dheeraj also used to trade in illegal arms. He was caught by the police a few days ago. Many cases are also registered against him.

Savita-Radheshyam have two daughters aged 21 and 22. 15 year old son studies in 10th class. Dheeraj Kumaria is survived by his wife and a son.
Police said, ‘Something can be said only after the investigation is completed. At present, the woman has been taken into custody. The reason for the incident is said to be family feud and dispute. Earlier too, the woman had filed a case against her brother-in-law.
